Monarch 5 Standard
The Monarch 5 Standard blends Fodera’s aesthetics, playability, and reliability with a tonal pallet never before offered in our Standard Series. It features a Walnut body under an Ivorywood top and a 3-piece Maple neck paired with an Ebony fingerboard to deliver a massive-sounding modern tone with open lows, dark and punchy low-mids, and clear sustained highs.
This Monarch also features a Nordstrand Big BladeMan 5 in the bridge and a Big J-Blade 5 (clean & clear) in the neck position. Nordstrand Audio's Big Blademan uses a powerful dual ceramic bar design to emit “an unsettling amount of raw power” that’s “mean, gritty, big, powerful, bombastic, and LOUD”. That pickup combination is paired with our Custom Series 4-band preamp (in the Standard Series control layout) for a wide range of tonal control to provide a large pallet to work with when shaping your sound.
