Our team of luthiers combine over 30 years of innovative design, building, and real world playing experience to handcraft a custom bass guitar suited for your individual playing style and working needs. The Selects are designed from the ground up to be your go-to 4 or 5-string bass by providing players with an instrument that blends some of the best qualities of our Standard and Custom line of instruments. Standard Series

Our Standards are your gateway into the world of Fodera bass guitars. Established in 2011, we used our 35+ years of Custom building experience to create an accessible, pro-player designed, and Brooklyn built line of bass guitars. Crafted by the same team that builds our Custom instruments and using the same tone woods, our Standard basses are made to last a lifetime and deliver everything you'd expect a Fodera to be.

Yin Yang

Yin Yang Standard Models

Based on our coveted Victor Wooten Yin Yang Deluxe, the Yin Yang Standard has been developed in close consultation with our dear friend and bass player extraordinaire, Victor Wooten. Victor has long wanted us to develop a Yin Yang that could be more widely available and within reach of a broader range of players. The Yin Yang Standard was designed with a meticulously chosen set of build specifications and is crafted from exactly the same materials as all of our custom made Brooklyn instruments to ensure that legendary Fodera playability and tone.

The 2021 Yin Yang Standard is a continuation of the signature design and sound of the Yin Yang Series. Featuring two different top wood and color options, these distinctive versions have their own nuances that make them both visually and sonically striking.
