Inspired by an old Gothic church in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, Masterbuilt – Gothic Stained Glass utilizes our Monarch shape as a canvas for its stunning design. The body inlay alone is comprised of 44 pieces of Mother of Pearl, Olive, and Madrone Burl which are framed with Ebony over a Holly top. Patterned after ornamental Acanthus leaves, the 12th Fret inlay and custom truss rod cover continue the motif all the way to the headstock. A single Fodera / Duncan Dual Coil pickup with a matching wooden cover is aligned in the center of the stain glass pattern. Additionally, the instrument forgoes our preamp and features passive electronics.

With a Roasted Ash body and Ebony board, the instrument’s tone is clear and smooth. This instrument includes a Flamed Maple tone block matched to a 3-pc Oak neck with a maple center giving the back of the instrument a beautiful contrast of wood color and grain.
