The NYC Line of instruments were developed in 1993 to compliment the Custom Series at the time. They were handmade in Japan by a small team of skilled luthiers - trained by Vinny and Joey. The basses were then sent to the shop in Brooklyn to be assembled and completed. The NYC line was discontinued in 2011 in efforts to have a more Standardized (spec) Line of instruments but this time built in house. In 2011 Fodera stopped selling NYCs and began making the Standards - begining with the Yin Yang 4 Standard.
