The Joey Standard Special Emperor 5 Classic
This unique Emperor Standard Special was designed to honor one of our founding partners, the one and only, Joey Lauricella!
It combines our coveted Standard specs with some of Joey’s most beloved tone-wood combinations. Joey has played thousands of gigs with this particular recipe of specs and they will certainly help to achieve the sound you are looking for, regardless of the situation you find yourself in. We hope you love this model as much as we do!
Featuring many specs from our Standard Special line, this model is styled after Joey’s own personal Fodera. The Transparent Cream finish, matching headstock, Pearloid pickguard, and Birdseye maple fingerboard has a classic, premium look that has served Joey for many years.
The electronics package includes a set of J/J pickups and our proprietary Fodera 3-band Preamp in the 70’s position. The body wood adds that low mid punch that cuts through the mix with this setup.
