The starting list price for an Monarch P Standard is $4,450 and after your $1,000 deposit, you will have a remaining balance of $3,450 plus shipping. The $1,000 deposit ensures your order and serial number. Additional charges will be included in your final quote should you choose any up-charged options. You must pay the remaining balance of your quoted price upon completion plus shipping. Once a deposit is made, a Fodera team member will contact you with an expected completion date. Monarch P Standard

The Monarch P Standard has been designed specifically to be a workhorse of a bass, giving you the vintage P vibe but also the renowned playability of a Fodera.

The P Standard has its roots in on our Monarch body shape, but has its own unique contours. It utilizes the classic tonewood combination of an alder body and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (Indian, but features the added Fodera touch of an Ivorywood top. The P's 22-fret neck is built to dimensions that are slightly thicker than that of a typical Monarch Standard, giving it more of a 60s era feel.

This instrument is completely passive, with an in-house wired circuit consisting of 250k solid shaft pots, a 0.047uf capacitor, and a 1/4” input jack. For the pickup we've selected a Nordstrand NP4V that is vintage-voiced for the legendary early 60s P tone, but with the added punch of an Alnico V magnet.

The Monarch P Standard gives you the feel and tone of a traditional P-styled bass, but with Fodera's craftsmanship, playability, and aesthetics.
