Victor Wooten '83 Monarch Standard

Built in honor of Victor’s original 1983 Fodera, this new Standard model captures the soul, voice, and playability of the bass that helped shape a generation of music. Thoughtfully refined for today’s players while staying true to the essence of Victor’s first Monarch, and at a lower price point.

This bass features a Mahogany body paired with a Maple top, giving you that warm, punchy low-end that Victor is known for, balanced with articulation and clarity.
We kept the classic 3-piece Maple neck with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard and clay dots. It features a 34-inch scale, 24 frets, and 19-millimeter spacing, so it feels fast, familiar, and incredibly comfortable. Under the hood, you’ve got the EMG P/J pickups in Victor’s exact spacing, just like the original. And powering it all is our Fodera x Trickfish Custom 3-Band Preamp— giving you musical, studio-grade tone shaping in any situation.
